Are you an artist or maker? Have you thought about running workshops but lack the confidence to get started?
Running a workshop is a great way to share your skills with others and inspire people, young and old, to try new things.
This workshop will help you discover how to inspire, motivate and encourage your students, how to create a stimulating yet relaxed environment for people to learn in and how teaching can inform your own practice.
“I found the workshop a great balance of practical, discursive, learning through doing and interaction. Very informative and clear, and facilitated in an inspiring way. I really enjoyed the day, and know it will help me moving forward. Thank you!”
You will learn how to plan and organise your own workshop with lots of great tips, tricks and advice from experienced tutor Elizabeth Hammond. You will come away from the day with everything you need to start your first workshop.
This is also great opportunity to network with other artists and makers.
You’ll need to bring paper and pens for brainstorming and making notes as well as ideas for running your own workshop and examples of any of your own work to discuss in regards to how to best teach others your skills.
You’ll also need to bring a packed lunch. Tea, coffee and biscuits will be provided.
Only £55, price includes refreshments and handouts!
